If you happen to be passing through Castelluccio, come and visit us: in our farm shop, you can sample our products, made according to age-old, simple traditional recipes.
The Castelluccio di Norcia IGP lentil is our most renowned product, with which we prepare the classic soup with bread or a richer dish featuring Norcia sausages. Farro is offered both as a hot soup and as a cold salad. We recommend trying our platter of pecorino cheese (both fresh and aged) and salted ricotta, accompanied by our multifloral honey from Castelluccio and fruit compotes and jams that a local Umbrian farm has been crafting for us for years. You can also try the fresh ricotta, excellent on its own, or even more delightful when paired with Castelluccio multifloral honey and jams, and our ricotta and farro flour tart, which is a true delicacy. If you visit us in the morning while we are preparing it, you can also taste the soup with bread and the warm ricotta —a rare and delicious experience.
