Long tradicion
OUR FAMILY
The Coccia family has always lived and worked in the small village of Castelluccio and is involved in agriculture. The founders Pompeo and Marietta have cultivated lentil and wheat fields since the 1930s, practiced sheep farming with winter transhumance, becoming expert cheesemakers. The next generation saw Caio and Emilia committed to continuing the activity, which they expanded and improved, with the use of more modern breeding and cultivation techniques, and with the construction of the current building, in a splendid position overlooking Monte Vettore. The work continues with the new generation and with the help of the cheesemaker Michail and his family, so that the tradition is preserved.
